Family Foraging Fun
Sunday September 6, 2015 (10am-1pm)
Join us for a stroll around the farm with forager Jennifer Oldham, and learn about dozens of edible and medicinal plants. Bring your cameras, phones or notebooks to document your discoveries. Bring the kids and start laying the foundation for a new family pastime!
We’ll explore hay fields and their shrubby edges, oak-hickory dominated woodland, and just might poke around the yard and garden for surprises hidden in plain sight.
Dress for the weather, terrain (thickets and such) and ticks. Bring your favorite harvesting tools, gear and field guides. Additional materials will be available on site.
The charge for this class is $20 per grown-up, with a $10 prepaid deposit needed to sign up. Place a deposit or pay in full at the PayPal link below. Class size is limited to 15 (if you are bringing children, let us know their ages when you check out).
